Seller Policy

This Seller Policy explains the rules that apply to users who sell on Cominy.

Cominy is operated by Starbiss LTD, a company registered in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

This Seller Policy explains the rules that apply to users who list and sell products through Cominy.

1. Seller Responsibilities

By selling on Cominy, you agree that:

you have the legal right to sell the product;
your product description is accurate and not misleading;
your product works substantially as described;
your product does not infringe another person's intellectual-property rights;
you will comply with applicable laws and Cominy policies; and
you will provide buyers with the product, access, or files promised in the listing.

You are responsible for the products you sell and the information you publish about them.

2. Product Listings

Listings must clearly explain what the buyer will receive.

You should provide accurate information about:

product features;
file types or formats;
compatibility requirements;
licence or usage rights;
access limitations;
important conditions; and
any known restrictions.

You must not use false claims, misleading screenshots, fake reviews, exaggerated guarantees, or deceptive pricing.

3. Product Ownership and Rights

You may only sell products that you created, own, or are properly authorised to distribute.

You must not sell:

stolen or pirated content;
copied products without permission;
counterfeit digital goods;
unauthorised software or licences;
content that violates copyright, trademark, or other rights; or
any product prohibited by Cominy.

If we receive a valid intellectual-property complaint, we may remove the affected product while reviewing the matter. See our Intellectual Property & Copyright Policy.

4. Product Delivery

Sellers are responsible for ensuring that buyers receive the digital product or access described in the listing.

Products must not contain malicious code, harmful files, hidden subscriptions, or undisclosed restrictions.

If a product cannot be delivered, the seller may be responsible for a refund.

5. Pricing

Sellers may set their own prices subject to Cominy rules.

Prices must not be intentionally misleading.

You must not manipulate prices to create fake discounts or misrepresent the normal value of a product.

Applicable Cominy fees may be deducted from seller proceeds.

6. Refunds and Disputes

Sellers must comply with the Cominy Return & Refund Policy.

Where a valid refund is approved, Cominy may deduct the refunded amount and applicable costs from:

the seller's available balance;
pending earnings; or
future amounts payable to the seller.

Sellers are expected to cooperate with reasonable dispute investigations and provide requested evidence.

7. Seller Conduct

Sellers must not:

mislead or defraud buyers;
manipulate reviews or ratings;
create fake purchases;
use multiple accounts to manipulate sales or rankings;
pressure buyers into leaving positive reviews;
direct buyers to unsafe or deceptive payment methods;
impersonate another seller, brand, or business; or
use Cominy to facilitate unlawful activity.

8. Communication With Buyers

Seller communication must be professional and relevant to the transaction.

You must not use buyer information for spam, harassment, unrelated marketing, or purposes not reasonably connected to the transaction unless you have appropriate permission.

9. Seller Verification

Cominy may require sellers to complete identity verification before listing products, receiving payouts, or accessing certain seller features.

Additional information may be requested where necessary for fraud prevention, compliance, payment processing, or account security.

10. Payouts

Seller proceeds may be subject to:

Cominy fees;
payment-processing fees;
refunds;
chargebacks;
transaction reversals;
temporary reserves;
compliance reviews; and
other permitted deductions.

Cominy may delay or restrict payouts where there is suspected fraud, an unresolved dispute, unusual transaction activity, incomplete verification, or another legitimate risk.

11. Reviews and Marketplace Integrity

Sellers must not buy, trade, fabricate, or manipulate reviews, ratings, purchases, downloads, recommendations, or engagement.

Incentives for reviews must not require a positive review.

Cominy may remove reviews or activity that appears manipulated or misleading.

12. Enforcement

If a seller violates this Policy, Cominy may:

remove or restrict a product;
limit seller features;
delay payouts;
require additional verification;
issue a warning;
suspend the seller account; or
permanently terminate selling privileges.

Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate suspension.
